OVER HORSE Pectosyllium 1200g

A feed formulated for removing sand from horses' intestine. Horses in different environments ingest sand. The sand tends to sink in the intestine and cause colics. Feeding Pectosyllium reduces the risk of sand colics by forming a gel-like substance within the gut. The gel binds sand and exctracts it in the feces. Feeding Psyllium to horses is a well known practice to remove the sand. It is also well known that Psyllium is very unpalatable. Pectosyllium is a specially formulated palatable feed consumed readily by horses.
