Hoof Drying Preparation
Hoof Tar – GALVET PIX Beech Tar 1 kg
Wood tar (beech tar) is a proven preparation with a wide range of applications, valued both in hoof and hoof care, farming, and hunting. Thanks to its protective, antiseptic, and impregnating properties, it has been used for years in everyday animal care and for protecting surfaces exposed to moisture and external factors.
In hoof and claw care, GALVET PIX tar is used as a protective preparation that helps maintain the proper condition of hoof horn. It creates a protective barrier against moisture and mud, helping to protect the hoof frog from rotting, softening, and harmful environmental influences. Regular use supports hoof hygiene, helps limit the development of fungal infections, and assists in maintaining a healthy and dry condition of the sole and frog.
The preparation can also be used on wounds, skin damage, and dressing surfaces, where it provides protective support and helps maintain proper hygienic conditions.
GALVET tar may also be used as a product to help prevent fence chewing and as a natural protective impregnating agent, making it a practical preparation with multiple applications.
