How does the black rein work?

The black rein works by gently guiding the horse’s head position. Depending on how it is attached, it creates controlled tension that:

  • encourages the horse to lower its head and round the neck
  • supports back engagement and hindquarter activity
  • helps achieve a steady, elastic contact
  • limits head raising and stiffness in the poll
