Shock Absorption, Breathability and Horse Comfort

A good training session is about more than the rider’s skills and the horse’s fitness. The right equipment also plays an important role in comfort during every ride. The QHP Air Mesh Black half pad combines a breathable 3D mesh structure, memory foam and an anatomical profile.

The result?

Practical support that helps distribute pressure under the saddle, absorb shocks and improve your horse’s comfort during everyday training.

With its minimalist look, practical features and comfort-focused design, Air Mesh is a great choice for riders who know that the details matter.

Air Mesh – Breathability You’ll Appreciate in the Saddle

During intensive training, heat and moisture can build up beneath the saddle. That’s why good air circulation matters. The breathable Air Mesh structure, together with the additional 3D mesh on the upper surface, promotes airflow and helps reduce heat build-up.

The lightweight, breathable construction is suitable for regular arena work, show jumping sessions and everyday riding. It’s a practical solution for riders who care not only about the look of their equipment but, above all, about their horse’s comfort.

Memory Foam – Shock Absorption and a Contoured Fit

What are the benefits of memory foam? It adapts to the shape of the horse’s back, helping distribute pressure more evenly beneath the saddle. Its cushioning properties help absorb shocks generated during movement, enhancing comfort when riding.

The combination of memory foam and the Air Mesh structure provides cushioning support without compromising breathability. It’s a functional choice for riders who want to help keep their horses comfortable during everyday training.

Anatomical Shape – More Space for the Withers and Spine

Good equipment fit starts with the right design. The anatomical profile of the QHP Air Mesh half pad follows the contours of the horse’s back and helps reduce pressure around the withers and spine.

When correctly positioned, the half pad can help improve comfort while riding. However, please remember: it does not replace a properly fitted saddle. Before each ride, always check that the saddle and half pad sit securely and do not create excessive pressure.

Why Choose the QHP Air Mesh Black Half Pad?

• Additional 3D mesh – enhances ventilation across the upper surface.
